Insurance that matches the contract you sign
Oilfield Service Insurance works with oilfield service contractors in Texas and the neighboring basins: roustabout and lease maintenance crews, well servicing and workover companies, water haulers and SWD operators, hot oil and frac support, and inspection and testing firms.
The work starts where most contractors' insurance problems start: the insurance exhibit of an operator's master service agreement, or a certificate that came back rejected. We read the requirement, line it up against the policies you actually have, and fix the gaps. Coverage is placed through a licensed Texas insurance agency.
How these pages are written
- Primary sources first. Statutes, regulations and agency pages (Texas statutes, the eCFR, OSHA, FMCSA, the Railroad Commission). Every page lists its sources, and every link was checked when the page was published or updated.
- No invented numbers. We don't publish premium figures, claim rates or survey results we can't trace to a public source. Where limits are described as common, that reflects contract language generally, not any one operator.
- No named-operator requirements. Operators set their own requirements and change them. We never state what a specific operator requires; your MSA is the only authority on that.
- No insurer names. The right market depends on your operations and loss history, not on a logo in an article.
- Insurance, not law. Indemnity clauses and Chapter 127 questions belong with your attorney. We explain how the insurance has to line up with whatever you sign.
